What happens to your data here
1. Who is responsible
The controller of data collected through this site is myself, Mircea Ilie.
2. No cookies for language
You choose the language through the address: the Romanian pages are at mirceailie.com, the English ones at mirceailie.com/en/. The site does not remember your choice - neither in cookies nor in browser storage.
3. Visit statistics
I use free and open-source web statistics software, installed locally - not with an external provider. The data goes nowhere else and is never used for advertising.
What is recorded: pages visited, time of visit, referring page, device and browser type, screen resolution. The purpose is a single one: to know which topics are useful and which pages deserve improvement. Data is kept for 6 months], then deleted.
If you prefer not to be counted, you can enable your browser's "Do Not Track" setting - the software respects it, provided that option is enabled in its settings.
4. The contact form
When you write through the form, I receive your name, email address and message. I use them only to reply and for the correspondence that follows. They enter no marketing list and are passed to no one. Spam protection works locally - I use no reCAPTCHA or other external service.
5. No external resources
Fonts, scripts, styles and images load exclusively from this site's own server. I use no Google Fonts, content delivery networks, social media buttons or tracking pixels. In practice, your visit here is invisible to any other company.
6. Client data
What we discuss in coaching sessions is confidential and appears nowhere on this site. Published testimonials are only those for which I have the person's explicit consent, attributed in the form they chose (first name, full name or anonymous).
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing. Write to me and we will sort it out - in practice, given how little data exists here, this usually concerns messages sent through the form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).
